RULES & SCORING

Predict the final score of every FIFA World Cup 2026 match. The closer your prediction, the more points you earn.

1. An admin opens a prediction window for each round of matches.
2. Submit your predicted score for each match before the window closes (typically before kickoff).
3. Once the match is played, points are awarded automatically based on accuracy.
4. Climb the leaderboard and compete for bragging rights!

Predictions are submitted per round (e.g. Matchday 1, Matchday 2, etc.). An admin opens each round's prediction window before it begins.

• You must predict all matches in a round before submitting.
• The window closes automatically before kickoff -- predictions lock once the window is closed.
• You can update your predictions as many times as you like while the window is open.
• Predictions are hidden from other users until the window closes.

For knockout matches (Round of 32 onwards), you predict the score after 90 minutes of regular time.

• Extra time and penalty shootout results are not factored into scoring.
• If the match ends 1-1 after 90 minutes and goes to extra time, a prediction of 1-1 is treated as an exact score.

The game is organized into communities -- private groups where you compete with friends, colleagues, or family.

• You can be a member of multiple communities at the same time.
• Each community has its own leaderboard.
• An admin invites you to join a community. You cannot self-register.

If two or more players have the same total points, the following tiebreakers apply in order:

1. Most exact scores -- the player with more exact score predictions ranks higher.
2. Most correct winners -- among remaining ties, the player with more correct winner predictions ranks higher.
